From 2011-2016 Neil has volunteered his time in his local community fulfilling membership secretary duties for both Beaconsfield Rugby Football Club and Beaconsfield Cricket Club, two leading and thriving amateur sports clubs in the south east of England.
Beaconsfield Cricket Club has 250 members and was founded in 1823, so plans are already in place for a bicentennial celebration.
Founded in the 1950s, Beaconsfield Rugby Football Club has closing in on one thousand members, players and registered club followers. The junior membership, at around 550 active playing youngsters up to the age of 17, is among the largest of junior sections of any rugby football club in England.
